The London healthcare division looks after UK MS account in addition to various other Client projects in therapy areas such as oncology, regenerative medicine, aswell as medical devices. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, recent grad with lots of drive and a hunger to achieve. The successful candidate will be supporting the health practice client experience team, specifically a major international pharmaceutical organisation multiple clients and campaigns.
What will you be doing?
Organising editorial/speaking calendars, including sourcing and qualification of opportunities and status maintenance
Attendance at daily paper meetings and flagging / distribution of relevant stories
Managing photographic library
Preparation of press materials and press packs
Compiling and distribution press cuttings on a regular basis
Attending and contributing to creative brainstorms for clients
Assisting the team to ensure copy is prepared, approved and submitted in line with deadlines, researching and writing copy for features; writing and following up photo-call notices
Build up an understanding of the key publications, journalists, regularities
Produce basic copy to a high standard
Industry and Market Knowledge
Client market understanding – knowing the client’s business through reading publications pertinent to accounts
Using technology – using software packages, the internet and research facilities to obtain relevant information
Taking an active interest in current affairs, subscribing to news groups to keep updated on political affairs that effect the client
