Current Global’s Healthcare division in London was launched in 2020 and is now a team of 11, which includes highly experienced, dynamic healthcare communications professionals; experts in patient communication and education, disease awareness campaigns, brand/product PR, stakeholder and influencer engagement, media relations, media training, health policy, and global public health. Their clients range from global companies including pharmaceuticals, government organisations, and medical devices & technology start-ups.
What is the role?
We are looking for a media manager to join one of the most exciting healthcare teams in the business, with a track record of securing front pages for unsung health injustices. You will be the go-to point of contact for media counsel across a range of growing accounts, focussing on global health, oncology and neuroscience, working closely with the SVP of Health. No day will look the same: you might be called on to devise a handling plan to increase awareness of a forgotten disease, take to the phones to pitch in a story about cutting-edge scientific research, or dive into a new client proposal.
