Meet our team.

George Coleman

CEO

George loves telling stories. Big, tall or short. He’s been doing it for more than 25 years for some of the world’s most iconic brands. He started his career as an electronics engineer, but craved a more creative canvas, and made the leap into marketing communications. Following a stint at the BBC, he joined his first agency and the rest, as they say, is LinkedIn profile history.

He founded IPG agency Creation in 2011 and served as global president, before teaming up with Current to form Current Global in 2018. His experience traverses the full spectrum of marketing communications including brand, reputation management, digital/integrated communications policy and government affairs.

Outside of work he’s often found in his vegetable patch or brewing beer. He’s also a film fanatic, collects original cinema posters and has a dog called Sundance.

Renee has a passion for storytelling that shapes perceptions, sparks emotion and incites action. And her 25+ years of experience is all about storytelling – in all forms and channels – to shape corporate reputations and brands.

Trusted by the C-suite, Renee counsels clients on corporate reputation and branding, executive communications and thought leadership, employee engagement and crisis communications. She has led corporate work for some of the world’s leading brands in technology, healthcare and consumer, including Apple, Samsung, IBM, Abbott, Merck, Stryker, Royal Caribbean, American Airlines, ExxonMobil and MasterCard.

Her arsenal of corporate experience also includes social impact and employee engagement expertise.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling to see her three (mostly) grown children, interesting food, good wine and, of course, a great story.

Pete Campisi

Global Consumer Lead

As a passionate leader and creative problem solver for more than 25 years, Pete thrives on finding ways for brands to have a role in cultural moments and conversations happening in society. Bringing innovative and surprising creative solves to every ambitious challenge, he has delivered award-winning and purpose-driven campaigns for some of the world’s most valued brands such as Coca-Cola, GlaxoSmithKline, HanesBrands, InterContinental Hotels Group, Mattel/Barbie, PepsiCo, Samsung, Unilever, and Yum! Pete serves as the agency’s Global Consumer Lead to ensure delivery of strategic, creative, and results-driven client work. Under his direction, Current Global’s approach to client service is centralized, and Pete is focused on connecting and growing account leads, teams and relationships throughout the agency and IPG network. He also oversees integrated and creative campaign development and execution for the agency’s top consumer-directed clients. Pete has held prior leadership roles at Weber Shandwick by serving as Executive Vice President and Global Client Experience lead, and as consumer practice and growth lead for its New York operation.

When he isn’t counseling clients or inspiring and driving culture within the agency, Pete serves as chairperson for his family’s charity, the Louis Segreto 26 Foundation, an organization founded to honor his cousin Louis with financial assistance for patients under age 26 and their families struggling with life threatening illnesses. He also is a proud supporter of “Dad Rock” (formerly known as rock n’ roll), regularly spinning vinyl and sporting concert tees from the hundreds of concerts he’s been to over several decades.

Andy Rohr

Global Technology Lead

With 20+ years’ experience in communications, Andy’s had an opportunity to run North American, UK, pan-EMEA and SABRE award-wining global campaigns. He’s worked across sectors from fast moving consumer goods (Ocean Spray) to automotive (General Motors) to health (Boston Scientific).  However, Andy’s passion lies in helping companies tell innovation stories across multiple markets in a way that is relevant, accessible and compelling.

Andy manages Current Global’s worldwide relationship with Microsoft – which includes a mix of strategic media relations, executive visibility, policy influencer engagement, employee comms and pan-regional commercial campaigns in EMEA and China.  Prior to this role, Andy led BlueCurrent UK – a sister brand of FleishmanHillard – charged with growing the business and its flagship client, Salesforce. Previously, Andy was at Weber Shandwick, where he led global campaigns for Monster Worldwide and EMEA-based campaigns for Microsoft.

Outside of work, Andy loves taking advantage of the London theatre scene, whether it’s a big West End show or a fringe production staged above a pub south of the river. Also, having moved to London well over a decade ago, the ability to get off a two-hour flight and be surrounded by a completely different culture has not lost any of its magic.  And, whether it’s the south of Spain or a small Greek island, the Mediterranean is his favorite destination without a doubt.

Rosmarie Dammler

Managing Director, Germany

What fascinates Rosmarie most about healthcare communication: The industry and its typical field of tension between the pharmaceutical industry, doctor/pharmacist and patient constantly offer impulses and starting points for new ideas. With openness, enthusiasm, customer orientation, a lot of experience and a solid scientific background, Rosmarie and her dedicated, motivated team have designed and successfully implemented major new launches of innovative medications and attention-grabbing awareness and patient motivation campaigns – both in her pharmaceutical career at Sanofi, Hexal and Sandoz and later with the agency Commpartners for numerous customers. After ten exciting and successful years with Commpartners, she is now looking forward, together with her long-time colleague Anne, to launching a new healthcare unit at Current global. In her private life, Rosmarie prefers to be outdoors and active, in summer and winter in the mountains – or on holiday at the sea.
